Description
The Hive Shops are stores owned by middle-class people that are set up either near or inside of The Hives. Due to many lower-class people not being able to spend the money to go to higher-end stores or the time to find cheaper alternatives on their own, people began opening up stores within The Hives themselves to give them more options and more readily available products. Some larger store chains have open up new branches within The Hives to accommodate lower class customer base. Some other customers occasionally go out of their way to visit the Hive Shops because the prices are occasionally lower than their neighborhood counterparts.

The Hive Shops have contributed more than just the economic stability of the lower class populous. Due to the general safety within The Hives, parents feel safe sending their kids on shopping runs when they're at work, which builds responsibility in the kids from a young age. This allows them to do more things like take care of younger siblings and, sometimes in the older kids, cook dinner for parents, which improves familial relationships within The Hive.
